Hey guys. I will be blogging to you this year about my um, experiences learning to drive. And they certainly have been experiences. The first time I drove, it was in an empty parking lot 3 months before my 16th birthday, in a guy's car who only agreed to let me drive it because he thought I had my G2. The car was really expensive; I doubt I'll be driving a car like that again anytime soon. He didn't seem very impressed when I "confirmed" with him which pedal was the brake and which was the gas. But it was a good chance to start to get the feel of everything.
The second time I drove, it was in another empty parking lot, a few weeks before I got my G1. That was just as interesting as the first. I learnt a very important lesson that day though. Apparently you have to actually look when you're backing up. Whatever, the shopping cart had it coming.
